The concept note documents the need for initiating a profiling exercise based on the combined interest of stakeholders responding to displacement in a context. It includes a basic overview of the displacement situation and consensus about the main objective of a profiling exercise as well as the intended use of the data.
This tool provides the outline for a concept note and suggestions on how to manage the process in order to develop it collaboratively with partners. It can be used to advocate for a profiling exercise, to seek additional funding, and/or simply to document points of agreement on the need for more evidence.
